In Chicago they are cracking down on The Outfit. The court is opening investigations on old hits and unsolved mob related murders. This is the biggest sweep of the Outfit since Eliot Ness and the Untouchables brought down Capone in the Thirties. Also in other big news, the boss of the Bonnano family will start cooperating with the police. This is the highest ranking memeber of the mob to break the code of Omerta. Many people see this as the last nail in the coffin for La Cosa Nostra, or the American Mob.
